2000 - 2008

DGC Research Institute Co., Ltd. was established in 2000 by researchers of complex systems in order to return to society the results of advanced research conducted at universities and research institutes. The company name DGC stands for "Discussion Group of Complexity". From 2000 to 2008, we have been working as a general consulting business. As a think tank for major companies, and through holding lectures and seminars, we have made our research results widely available to the general public. We have also supported test research at universities and research institutes.

In 2009, Sakuramoto took office as president, made the business objectives more concrete, and established a new system as the new DGC.We have moved our head office to Ibaraki Prefecture, established the Niigata Laboratory as an analysis center, and have decided to focus on the soil analysis business and the Soil Project in particular.Since then, our services have been widely used by agricultural producers, agriculture-related companies, food industry, and agriculture-related research guidance institutions.

On October 2013, 10, DGC Technology Co., Ltd. entered into a business transfer agreement with DGC Research Institute Ltd. to transfer the soil analysis/consulting business and Soil Project business that DGC Research Institute Ltd. was conducting. I inherited everything.

In September 2018, we established the Aichi Laboratory, which enabled us to conduct soil chemical analysis in addition to soil microbial diversity and activity value analysis.

The EU laboratory was established in February 2022, enabling analysis of soil microbial diversity and activity values within the EU region.

We often hear the phrase “environmentally friendly”.
There are various ways to approach it.Reducing the use of plastic products and promoting recycling are typical examples, but in addition to that, we are working with the goal of thinking about microorganisms.

As decomposers, microorganisms play a key role in material circulation.
Since ancient times, it has been responsible for the earth's ecosystem, supporting the ecosystem, and providing ecosystem services to all living things on the earth, including humans. In this era when SDGs are emphasized, many people are beginning to recognize the importance of turning their attention to microorganisms.

Agriculture is the industry most closely associated with soil microorganisms.
Agriculture is an important industry that sustains our lives, and therefore its sustainability is strongly required on a global scale.Microorganisms are the key.Whether it is conventional, organic, or natural farming, focusing on microorganisms in the soil and utilizing ecosystem services will create a rational carbon cycle and contribute to sustainable agricultural production. Because it connects.

This concept can also be applied to industries other than agriculture.
Many efforts are being made to transform organic matter emitted from corporate activities into fertilizers and soil conditioners instead of turning them into industrial waste. .

In addition, microbes can be used to check whether environmental conservation activities such as greening activities and cleaning activities are being carried out correctly.
The problems we face, such as global warming and loss of biodiversity, are very big.In order to solve them step by step, DGC Technology would like to work with you.
